Rev. Alexander David
background

Home

Rev. Alexander David was born in a Christian family in Quetta, Pakistan. His father, famous
evangelist B.M. David (late) was a true Christian soldier, who dedicated his life for Christ and preached the gospel during his entire life.

Many Muslims converted to Christianity in the years of his ministry. His vision was that his son (Alexander David) would also be a servant of God. Bishop Rocky prophesized to Alexander’s mother, that she would have a son who would be a servant of the Lord and at his birth he was dedicated for this ministry.

According to God’s grace and mercy Pastor David was called for ministry in 1974 as was prophesized while working in the United Arab Emirates.
After his call for the ministry he completed his theology studies in 1980 and was ordained and appointed as Minister of the United Presbyterian Church in the State of Sharjah and Dubai, U.A.E. He quickly experienced personal salvation in his life; he turned his ministry around from the Presbyterian doctrine to Evangelical.

It was at that time he established an Evangelical community church.
After thirteen years of his fruitful ministry in United Arab Emirates, the Lord opened another door for his ministry in Canada. He came to Canada by faith with his wife and his three children in October 1993. In Toronto, Canada he established a new ethnic community church which he named, “New Covenant Church if Canada.” New Covenant Church of Canada South Asian Ministries is the fastest growing and largest South Asian Church in the greater Toronto area.

It was during this time that Rev. David wrote his thesis on “Christianity in the Gulf Before and After Islam” for the Faith Theological Seminary in New Jersey, U.S.A. He completed the thesis and earned his Master of Divinity degree in 1996.

He has preached as a guest speaker in various Churches, Conventions, Crusades, Pastoral Conferences and Seminars all over Pakistan, Gulf, U.K, U.S.A, and in his home of Canada among many Christian and non-Christian communities.
